A tank container, or tanktainer, is a cylindrically shaped container made of steel, which ensures the safe transportation of liquids.
They are constructed with anti-corrosive materials. As well as enabling efficient loading/unloading operations, they offer regulated temperature control, and sturdy construction for safe transportation over long distances.

Tank containers play an important role in global trade, facilitating the transport of liquid materials or gaseous substances in bulk quantities.
Lashing techniques are used to secure tank containers on ships or trucks during long-distance transport.
